Very upset with my horrible experience..
I called ahead to make sure the indoor pool would be warm enough to enjoy and I was told it would be so what’s the main reason I booked , but unfortunately, when I arrived, it was very cold and uncomfortable to use also the water smelled really bad. I had also requested extra blankets and pillows when booking, but none were in the room upon check-in. Lastly, the bed was extremely hard and not comfortable at all. Because of these issues, we decided to leave just a 2 of hours after checking in. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and hope management reaches out to me regarding this bad experience.
Ive stayed here many times regular room and even the suites but the only thing these rooms need are upgraded televisions you are not able to watch any streaming services like Netflix or Disney or screen mirror but other than that the rooms are very nice.
I went with my husband last week for 3 nights and we had a good time there, front desk receptionist Johnny gave us a warm welcome and lets us know about every service for our nights. It was nice to have the same front desk gentlemen throughout our stay, they have great customer service. There was happy hour throughout our stay and that was great to have, the bar tender was always missing during happy hour but the front desk gentleman were there to help us out with our courtesy beers. I do regret not taking pool clothing, the pool looks amazing especially with South Texas Heat. They also have shuttle service, Joe the shuttle driver was able to take us to restaurants that he recommended (5/5 restaurants btw) and stores to go shopping. Breakfast was probably the highlight of our stay, the breakfast is amazing and delicious, props to ladies in the kitchen👏👏
They forgot to service our room. When we got there the shower wasn't working. We waited for them to come and fix it which never happened the first night because there was no maintenance on call. Elevator is scary, makes noise while in use and you better get out of there quick because the doors will wait for no one. One lady had a little roll cart and the door kept closing on her even when she was trying to hold it open. You better be strong to try to keep it open. Dangerous for kids. There was a cleaning lady name Perla who was very friendly and gave us the items we needed after our room hadn't been service. She was willing to clean it for us but the boys were ready for a nap after a long day playing football. I would not stay there again or at any Wyndham for that matter. I gave it a 2 star because of Perla other then that it would have been a 1 star.

4 weeks agoVery good hotel. Nice, clean, has its own Bar and mini-store. Very well located in front of La plaza Mall.
