For a monthly room inspection they entered our room while we were asleep. They say the latch lock just broke but I don’t know how it sheers off the door without great force. Staff was cool and I was happy with the room until that point.
My stay here was absolutely amazing, and I want to give a special thank you to Sonia. She always took care of my room with such kindness, respect, and attention to detail. Every day, she made sure everything was fresh, clean, and welcoming, and she did it with a smile.
Sonia truly goes above and beyond. Her hard work, positive energy, and caring attitude made my experience unforgettable. People like her are the reason guests feel at home. She is a true star of this hotel, and I'm grateful for the excellent service she provided.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
No stars for this location. I booked 3 rooms for 11 days for work at this location through Hotels.com. Hotels.com did their best to get us reimbursed, but per the location we signed something at check in that stated this stay was non refundable(we thought it was an incidental form). We worked all day so when we arrived to check in it was too late to leave. We slept there that night only becuase we had no where to go. the next day we called hotels.com and showed these photos of the disgusting conditions of the location. Hotels.com attempted to get us refunded for atleast the remainder of the 11 days but the location manager refused due to what was signed at check in. Hotels.com tried to come to an agreement but they would not let up. We were willing to pay for 2 nights atleast but refunding anything would of been appreciated. They Refused! DO NOT STAY HERE! IT IS A HAZARD TO YOUR HEALTH!
My stay at WoodSpring Suites in Brownsville, TX was excellent. The staff here truly go above and beyond — friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the whole place felt well cared for. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines great service, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality like this one. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area!
I’ve stayed at this hotel short and long stay several times, and this was by far my best experience — thanks to the new manager, Dave Mejorado.
His leadership shows in the cleaner rooms, more organized operations, and noticeably friendlier staff. The whole atmosphere feels more positive and professional.
Dave clearly cares about both guests and employees, and it makes a real difference. I’ll definitely be back and recommending this place to others!
