The room wasn't clean. I don't think the bed sheets were changed. When me and my husband arrived and got our room snd dropped off our things. We went out for about 2 hours or so....we got back to the room and found out the cleaning lady went into our room without permission and we got kicked out. So never again going to this place....no privacy!!!
This hotel was a great value find. The staff answers their phone quickly and is helpful. The room was clean comfortable. Parking was plentiful and easy. The grounds were very well maintained and looked beautiful. The hotel was situated at a perfect point about 30 minutes away from several attractions in various directions which made this the optimal choice for our trip as we wanted a place with a variety of options nearby.
The bed was very uncomfortable. The room didn’t have enough towels and they were bad quality towels. The bedding was sheets and a bed spread that was literally thinner than the sheets. There was no tissue box in the room. In the morning we asked for more towels and mentioned the problem with the bedding. They gave my husband two more towels and was told that they had thicker quilts available upon request. How are guests supposed to know that if there’s no sign? Luckily the a/c worked and l liked that they provide toothbrushes with a sample size toothpaste tube.
We have been traveling to Los Fresnos for many years but always stay with a relative. This time we needed to get a room for overflow so my husband and I opted to take the hotel room. This was a pleasant experience. The bedding was clean, as were the towels. They have done some nice updates to the bathroom. The showerhead was great. We had a disruptive neighbor our first night, but the owners took care of the situation immediately. Upon check out, the owner apologized again. The rates are reasonable, standard cable television service, and a functioning air conditioner. We didn’t use the pool, but we did see somebody cleaning the pool in the morning. If you need any items, you can easily walk across a frontage road to the big Walmart. Easy access to Ocean Boulevard which leads all the way down to South Padre Island. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
