Wouldn't stay here unless you enjoy sharing the room with roaches and crickets. The entire hotel needs to be fumigated. Originally, I had a room on the 3rd floor. Killed 2 roaches and lost one behind the bed. The staff switched me rooms to the 1st floor. That room was infested with crickets. They offered spray, which I used and also had maintenance spray the room a 2nd time but still had crickets flying around every night. The staff tried their best to help, but the bug situation bothered me. I am a Hilton Honors member, and I've stayed at many Hampton Inns, and this was not the quality I have been used to.
I’ve never had a problem with Hampton in nowhere, I booked this room for my daughter and her family cause they were going down there for a funeral, Check-in was at 3 o’clock my daughter check in till 3: 30 ,They told her that the room wasn’t ready. so my daughter waited the front end service clerk. Jessica was very rude . when my daughter asked not only once but several times about the pool not being to standards. She kept on telling my daughter that the pool was already inspected, and it was ready for customers to use, my daughter, told her that if there was any way for her to go, check the pool because you couldn’t see the floor of the pool because of all the chemicals. Manager called me to let me know that the pool was fine. I proceeded to say that no, it was not to standard ,then another incident as what they said that the room wasn’t ready. My daughter called or went down to the service area to let them know that they had no shampoo or conditioner inside the shower ,clerk was very rude once again out of all this what harm would I’ve done if the clerk just had gone and checked the pool or made sure that the pool was enough , second the room was not ready for check-in
The manager proceeded to tell me that because of the room that I wanted the room wasn’t ready. They did not even give her the room that I asked for I wanted 2 queen beds with a sofa . where’s that my fault ,I went on your website looked at what you had ready, so yes I am very disappointed with the service of this facility and I hope that when you do hire clerks to serve your customers that you find people that want to serve our customers not act like they do not want to be there .
Breakfast was hot. You can make yourself the cutest Texas shaped waffle. Juice tasted like flavored tap water. But coffee was hot and fresh. The room was comfy but clear it wasn't thoroughly cleaned, evidenced by the hair on the side of the tub and the floor in the bathroom. Didn't make a fuss cause we were only there for the night. There were complimentary cookies and coffee during the afternoon/evening.
