This hotel is old and totally out of date. The rooms are dingy and poorly kept. The worst problem is the AC system. It was quite cold here overnight in the 40°F range.
It was so cold in our room that I turned the thermostat to HEAT mode and the set temp to 76°F on three separate occasions during the night. Each time, COLD air came out of the vents and made the room cold down to 63-65°F. I turned the system off, and called in the morning.
They sent a maintenance guy in how said there AC systems are old and run on water. He had to turn the water OFF for the heat to turn on in about 10 minutes. And if we want to cool the room again we have to call him to turn the water on again.
Worst of all, I am sick with a horrible cold and fever and chills. I will never stay in this place again.
STAY AWAY!!!
We hosted our annual Holiday Christmas Party here and it was flawless from start to finish! Andrea the Director of Sales & Marketing made booking our group reservations a breeze, Sandra with Catering and Event planning was very attentive and made sure every detail was perfect, and Fernando the Food & Beverage Manager ensured the food and beverages were outstanding. The entire support staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm—our guests felt taken care of at every moment. Comfortable accommodations, festive atmosphere, and exceptional service made this event unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel for both stays and special occasions!
I think the people and staff are awesome they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Quiet !!!! I couldn't ask for better service !!!! The breakfast was a nice surprise better than what I expected and have ever had at any other hotel chain. Hands down 10 stars 🌟
We stayed here with a large family and had a mixed experience.
The breakfast is a buffet, which is convenient for a hotel this size. Most mornings it included eggs, a protein, salsa, bacon, refried beans, waffles (which take about two minutes per serving), bagels, milk, orange juice, fruit, and yogurt. Some days they offered pancakes, which was a nice change. While the quality was consistent, the menu did not vary much overall.
One major downside was the lack of hygiene from other guests at the buffet. It was uncomfortable seeing people sneezing, coughing, blowing their noses, and then touching serving utensils. I also noticed used tissues left in elevators and common areas. It would be helpful if the hotel placed hand sanitizer near the buffet and in other high-traffic areas to promote better cleanliness.
We also used the bar, which was quiet most nights except Friday and Saturday. On those nights it became somewhat rowdy with random women. It appeared that non-guests may come in to drink, though I am not certain. The bar is open on holidays.
Housekeeping staff were friendly and did a good job overall. Beds were cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily when needed. The front desk was welcoming and offered cookies and water, which was appreciated.
Room service was available and was amazing—fast and convenient. It closes around 10 PM nightly and was also open on holidays.
We rented a corner suite that included two bedrooms (one king, two queens), two full bathrooms, a living room, and a small kitchen. This setup worked well for our large family. However, I did not like that the balcony was attached to the room with two queen beds where my children stayed, as it made me uneasy due to safety reasons.
As for accessibility, wheelchair access is limited from the front parking area. The main entrance does not have sidewalks leading from the front lot. Accessible entrances are located on the sides of the hotel with proper sidewalks, or by parking in the hotel driveway.
Overall, the staff was kind and the hotel met basic needs, but improvements in cleanliness enforcement in Buffett by other guests and accessibility would make a big difference
The highlight of this Hotel hands down is the Front Desk Team. I am currently a guest and every single interaction has been professional, but warm.
Thank you to the Leadership Team for your dedicated focus on providing a culture of the highest service standards for your Front Desk Team.
Only one very minor point, name tags make it that much easier to give individual teammates a proper shoutout. CHEERS!
