Comfort Suites At Plaza Mall

We spent the weekend here while in town to enjoy the Christmas parade. The location is an older property. The day staff during the weekend was ok, not the most helpful, seemed preoccupied. But nevertheless, they did answer our questions. The room was very comfortable, but was in need of a good cleaning. A good paint job would go a long way. Our biggest issue, when housekeeping came in, the drawers to the dresser were opened, why? Nothing was in them, but they opened them. That didn't make much sense. The breakfast, do yourself a favor and eat out. Watery eggs, no coffee and an attendant telling you to hurry cause he needed to close up is not what you want to deal with.

I booked this hotel because it was showing good reviews on google and booking as well. Staff was helping and kind. They claim that it is 3 star accommodation but the price does not justice the quality of hotel. There are few cons of this hotel I would like to mention so it could help others before booking. Pros: - It is very nearby to all things like la Plaza mall, shopping mall, HEB and restaurants - Staff is friendly with smile - Price is average Cons: - Don’t book if you think you wish to stay at three star hotel - This is an old property and the amenities in room are pretty old with bed quality - Sofa in the room was so dirty - Coffee maker is too old fashioned - Bath plug is not available in bathtub - Does not have any closed or secure parking - Mobile charger pin is not available near bed - it’s closed to highway so all night you will have noise of vehicles

No TV just local channels all in Spanish No Hot water in shower Bed was uncomfortable big hole in the middle of it . No refrigerator just microwave. Night girl had attuide dressed like she just rolled out of bed . Overall Ill be telling CLC logging to remove Hotel from our list .

Stayed here for two nights. Lots of pros and cons Pros - Great service at front desk! Spacious room Nice lobby and hallways Cons - Location is a little odd Rooms were gross! The blankets had stains and rips all over them. Couch was yellow… now it’s black. It is just gross. Room smells very old So much potential… but I’m pretty disappointed with cleanliness which is the MAIN factor

Phone in the room is busted, light fixtures missing leaving unsightly holes in the wall and the room extra extra dark, the 2-3 functional lamps had burned out lightbulbs, not to mention there were no towels upon arrival, but the straw that broke the camels back, THE POOL IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY and on Easter!?! The staff were nice understood my complete and total disappointment and refunded what I paid hence the 2 stars vs 1. *Management should be ashamed that the Motel 6 next door is in better shape! Guests shouldn't have to run around trying to find towels, lightbulbs, or functioning phones to make their stay comfortable!
