A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and I took them here for an unexpected few bites. I had in been before. I was pleasantly surprised with the larger dining portions and the interior is modern, elegant but still quite fun and lively. The pork belly skewer appetizer was really delicious. They happen to have a DJ when we were stopping in for a bite, I think it's normal for them to have a DJ or music with a celebratory atmosphere.

I recently dined and felt compelled to write a review specifically praising the exceptional customer service we received from our server, Michelle. She single-handedly elevated our entire evening from a nice meal to a truly memorable experience.
From the moment we sat down, Michelle was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. She struck the perfect balance of checking on us without being intrusive. When we asked for recommendations, she provided thoughtful and informed suggestions, showing excellent knowledge of the menu—the dish she recommended was fantastic!
In a world where customer service can often feel rushed, Michelle made us feel valued and well taken care of. Her positive attitude and efficiency are huge assets to this restaurant. We will definitely be returning, and we will absolutely be asking for Michelle’s section!

What an amazing dining experience! We started with cocktails 🍹 & the Japanese Wagyu appetizer — perfectly tender and rich in flavor. The Dragon Roll with shrimp and fresh crab meat was fresh and beautifully presented. For the main course, the Ribeye steak with fries was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. We finished with the lava cake, which was the perfect sweet ending.
The ambiance is absolutely stunning — elegant, modern, and relaxing. Every dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. Definitely one of the most luxurious and delicious spots in McAllen! We loved our waiter Roberto highly recommend him very informative and passionate about his job.
We literally had the best time at Mousai in McAllen! 🎃 The whole night was perfect for Halloween the theme, the music, the crowd, the DJ everything was on point. The drinks were amazing, the food was just as good as the environment, and the overall vibe was unmatched. They are the vibe.
