Mikhuna Japanese-Peruvian Cuisine

We had a wonderful dining experience at Mikhuna. We enjoyed the Oysters a la Chalaquita, Carretillero by Mikhuna ceviche, and the Mar y Tierra sushi roll, all of which were fresh and well prepared. For dessert, the churros and Cacao Rainforest were excellent. Service was attentive and professional. Our server, Franky, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The General Manager, Misael, ensured everything ran smoothly and made us feel genuinely welcomed. We highly recommend Mikhuna, we are glad they are back and look forward to returning.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and inviting—perfect for both a relaxed dinner or a special night out. The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, namely Franky and General Manager Misael. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Peruvian flavors. You can tell a lot of care and passion goes into the kitchen. This place is a true gem, and I can’t wait to come back.

So this was the first time back after the renovations and new menu and… it was delicious! Places like Mikhuna should be appreciated and respected. We need more places like this one in the Valley. The food, the service, and the atmosphere is outstanding. Our server Jimmy was excellent and the manager was also very accommodating.

We had a great dinning experience at Mikhuna. We are in town for business travel and a friend recommend this place. We order the seafood ceviche, yuca fritas, tostones rellenos, pulpo tacos and finished it off with the ube ice cream and churos. I highly recommend the pisco sour. Misael did an excellent job of taking care of us.

I visited this restaurant with fairly high expectations, and overall, the experience was good. The food tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. That said, given the price point, I was hoping for a bit more complexity or creativity in the presentation and overall concept of the dishes. While everything tasted fine, the culinary approach felt a bit too simple and didn’t quite match the elevated pricing. It’s not about being overly fancy, but rather about aligning the value with the experience.
