We stayed for one night. Front desk still been remodeled. Not a problem for me. They gave us a room in the first floor, but it had a musky smell so I requested a change right way. No problem with the request and change of floor. I have stayed here before when they had been remodeling the first floor. We had a great experience in the big king suite. This time we chose a queen bedroom. I don't see what got remodeled but the second room was very decent but didn't see anything new. In our rush to get ready to the event we were attending I didn't do a thorough check of the room. Once back later in the night I noticed the top of the microwave being dirty. I mean they didn't make the effort to clean it. Then the cabinet on top were also dirty. I know nothing is 100% clean but on this one not even the good attempt was made. My first stayed here was better then this one. I didn't had the chance to have breakfast because they are close by 9AM. So if you have bad allergies please check. I always carry air sanitizer machine. So it safe me from bad allergies. I hope they can do better in their cleaning because this Casa Villa Suites is a good place to stay. But for future trips I might just look into the new hotels around this place.
Arrived on a Friday afternoon. Next morning about 9ish , housekeeping knocks , we are still in bed. I inform housekeeping lady to come back later. They didn’t come back the rest of my stay. I had to take out my own trash, and use my beach towel. Bed stayed unchanged or even unmade. Front desk was aware of the situation. Staff was lacking service, but the room was ok and spacious.
Beautiful room. I stayed in the suite with 2 queen beds and the room was huge.. definitely worth it. The prices were fair it's definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed it when going to the valley. Will be back..! Houston's KBK's Bullies
in middle of remodel. room was like new. tv still had plastic protector on it. had king suite. tv in bedroom tv in living room. service was great. nice breakfast bar. Pool clean and relaxing. hot tub jets need work, coulb on list for remodel??. great place to stay when in Harlingen.
I've stayed here before and it's a good place to stay. Clean, friendly and reasonably priced. They're doing some remodeling, but I realize that has to happen to stay up-to-date.
