Hotel is showing its age and lack of renovations/deep cleaning, which we could deal with, but we came in with our ESA pet during check in as they claim to be pet friendly and got told nothing about a pet deposit or needing to sign a waiver then got a $200 pet charge which we expected was probably the deposit the day after. Not really a big deal since we stay at hotels often with our pet. But when the charge wasnt removed I called the hotel and they said that our pet deposit is non-refundable even if we didnt make you aware of it. That I should have checked on their website to see that. I mentioned to them that we booked with Expedia and they said, basically too bad, it's on their website. All in all we wont be returning, their are plenty of other nice and more customer focused hotels in the area now.
You’d think that Marriott properties would be fairly standard across the brand. Think again. I went from this Residence Inn to one in Dallas and it was like the difference between a 1970s Dodge and a 2025 Bugatti. Rundown furniture, mold in the bathroom, the pervasive urine smell (they tried to mask it by making popcorn). Marriott’s app says it gets 4.1 stars. I don’t know how that’s possible. Not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but not what I expect from a Marriott either.
This is my second time that I stayed here and it does not disappoint. I love the rooms it makes it feel like a little apartment. This time we got a double room with two showers and I love this room. The pool was amazing my kids had fun. Looking for food, everything is close by and many choices to choose from. The mall is also close by. I would definitely come back.
I’m extremely disappointed that Marriott canceled three confirmed reservations on the day of arrival, leaving six of my employees without accommodations and no warning. A desk clerk—not a manager—called, offered no alternatives, and falsely directed me to another hotel that had no availability. The reservations were erased from the Bonvoy app as if they never existed, despite being booked over a month ago. I was forced to scramble and pay double elsewhere. This level of service is unacceptable and far below what I expect from Marriott.
