We loved our stay at this hotel! It was so cool that they decorated the hotel lobby and courtyard like a winter wonderland. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast good. Wished there were a few more drink options in the breakfast buffet, but otherwise great. Very close to a lot of attractions and major roads and very quiet.

Just a perfect place for a quick over night stay. Though at this particular location I feel service in the breakfast area needs to be improved. Many customers complained because the food containers with egg, sausage etc were all empty and not being refilled on a timely matter. Many people left not eating breakfast or sat waiting long periods of time before a refill. I found it also sad that there was a clear glass refrigerator with water, milk, apple juice, but they lock it and the only way to get a drink was to ask for one.

Every Since I Found this Hotel 5 Years Ago this is my Number 1 My Second Home. The Moment You Come In You Get Greeted and The Customer Service is Wonderful Especially Mrs. Paty Really Nice Person and She Is Very Helpful. The Lobby Gets Decorated Every Holiday Very Very Beautiful and My Grandbabies Love it. I Would Definitely Recommend This Place 10/10.

(Microwave caught fire and smoked read until end). I just would not recommend it. Stayed there 2 nights. 1st night wasn’t as horrible, Tv didn’t work, I left it alone, Ac did not work, that was fixed. To begging with dirty, and unorganized. Trash under bed, a kids bottle? How do you miss such large object? Tv out of place? And I am hoping whatever that is, that it’s glue. Stained sheets, torn couches but what did it for me, was NIGHT 2! I decided to get some chicken to eat, and decided to use the microwave, only for it to within 20 seconds start sparking, catch a small flame, and SMOKE UP my room. Which ended up irritating my eyes, and they got swollen. Asked the front lady if I could please take it out of the room, her response? That there was no one there to take it out. Offered to do it myself, and it was a nope. Initially she sounded as if she didn’t want to give me another room, due to the fact the all that was available was a 2 bed room, and mine was a single queen. Luckily for me, and older lady working the front desk , told her “ Ni modo” , meaning “ oh , well” proceeded to say “ you have to give it to him regardless. God bless the old lady. Anyways, there I am at 12 at night moving to another room, since my eyes were too irritated already. Bottom line, for nearly $150 dollars, go elsewhere. Stayed here due to being stranded in Brownsville, my car had a bad tire. I give the location a 5/5 because everywhere I needed to go was 1-3 miles from the hotel, which helped since I had a bad tire, and a 36 mile range left in my car. Stayed there since I’ve been to rooms in Corpus Christi , by Marriott for only $65 DOLLARS a night, way cleaner and better. But this time, absolutely disappointed. Specially for the price. Desk ladies are sweet, but this shouldn’t be happening.

Decent hotel, but it smells pretty musty. I went with Courtyard because I trusted it to be a solid choice as a Marriott brand and it was a bit cheaper than the Hilton and Fairfield. I probably should have paid the extra for one of them (they are newer build hotels). But, here's my experience at the Courtyard. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with a blast of musty and stale air. It was pretty bad. It was almost midnight, but the staff in the back came out to check me in within a couple of minutes. Not a warm welcome from her, but she was quick and not much to say. Made it to the room on the second floor and the musty smell was still there. Not what I was expecting, but complaining won't get rid of that heavy of a smell. The toilet didn't really flush. Took multiple attempts to get it to flush properly. But, sometimes it worked on the first flush. Other than that, the room was good. AC worked great and it came with a mini fridge and microwave and single cup coffee maker. The quality looked used and old, but still good enough. (Minus the musty smell) The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. The location is great. There are a couple restaurants next to it and easy access to the interstate and the rest of Brownsville. The back entrance to the property is blocked by construction...looks like it will be like that for a while. So don't let your GPS try and take you the back way. Pool looked nice, but I didn't use it. I also didn't try the breakfast. Overall it was a place to sleep, but I'll likely never stay there again. That musty smell is just too much for me. If you can deal with the smell to save some money, then it should be great.
