    ​I am beyond disappointed in this property; this was easily the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The level of service was non-existent. Throughout my entire 3-night stay, I was denied basic housekeeping. I was told I had to take out my own trash and that fresh towels would not be provided. ​Even more disturbing were the major security breaches: staff opened my door twice while I was in the room. This is a terrifying lack of regard for guest privacy and safety. ​To make matters worse, I was charged a $100 "safe" deposit without any prior explanation. Despite checking out, this money has not been returned to me. When I confronted the front desk about the charge and the poor service, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They flat-out refused to provide the General Manager’s contact information, effectively blocking me from resolving the issue. ​I am demanding a contact for management or the corporate office immediately to get my $100 back. I will not let this go until the deposit is refunded and the staff is held accountable for their unprofessional behavior. Do not stay here

    Nice hotel, the morning breakfast is horrible. The check in staff was nice but the evening staff was clueless. Needed to use the computer and printer, neither worked and no one on any of the shifts new how to fix it or log in. The room was clean. Not a bad stay but they need better food.

    First thing, the map directs the hotel to different place. I asked for late check out, front desk states they can't because they are fully booked today, cool understandable. I was looking to staying extra day due to work so I am looking at hotels, and look what I see, 9 rooms are available, and I know Hilton's app is upto date, it's definitely not the lag. Nah, ill go book else where. All this as diamond member.

    Friendly staff Great location Rooms were clean The biggest issue for me was the rooms water temp. Barely above room temp, if you like taking long hot showers after a hard day, this isn’t the hotel for you. Front desk just said that’s how the piping is and they can’t touch the boilers, it would affect all of the rooms. I understand that, but didn’t realize room temp water was the preferred temp. If you can over look that minor inconvenience it’s a nice place to stay.

    Always stay at this location but unfortunately its so worn and dated. Rooms usually have no hot water pressure and or rust in shower areas. Doors to all rooms are rough and bathroom doors are worse. The chairs are missing pieces from arm rest. Ceiling lights are hanging off the ceiling. Im a hilton honors member and this location always disappoints unfortunately. It needs up keep and management. I dont recommend this property if you are expecting hilton standards. The hallways are long and not wide enough. You'll feel the floor shift while you walk. Only elevator access is on the side of building . And the elevators will always be hot damp and dirty. I recommend the other Home2Suites on Ware Rd. In Mcallen witch was built before this one. Hopefully this place does a complete clean up including management.
