La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mission at West McAllen

"Ran out of room keys" never heard of a hotel running out, but here we are. Front desk was having to unlock late check ins doors with a master key so then somebody always had to be in the room to open the door for you unless you wanted to go to the front desk ask her to unlock your door. 2 towels in a double queen room. Very mediocre breakfast. Ac wouldnt stay on the temp we set. Luke warm water in shower like literally never got hot. Don't recommend.

We stayed here Nov4-5 and the AC in the room did not work properly, The fan would not blow hard enough so it could cool the room down! We did notify the front desk and let them know, The lady at the counter said she would have someone look at but it never happened,We had a very unpleasant experience it was hot and stuffy in the room and could not get rest.Before we left I spoke to the manager Jacob and he didn’t say sorry or apologize about the situation. This is the last time my family and me will ever stay at a La Quinta hotel

I would definitely stay at this La Quinta again. I knocked off one star because the elevators were down and the AC was a little warm in the hallways during my stay in the summer. The absolute best part was the breakfast this La Quinta serves. Whatever senora is cooking, she knows what's shes doing. The food tasted so good that it almost felt like I was paying to eat at a diner. If Im ever in Mission again I would stay at this hotel again. Overall a great experience because of the food and clean room provided for the price point. Thank you!!

I don't understand how others could leave negative comments, they haven't experienced bad in reality. La quinta was amazing with me! After booking with Motel 6 and arriving to roaches, hair on the bed, non-working toilets, and horrific smells..I went to La Quinta and it was an amazing stay. Super clean, polite in every way, and very comfortable. Will stay there always from here on out. Thank you all for changing the outcome of my trip.

When we arrived, the room they gave us a key to had trash, 4-5 pizza boxes and cans all over the room. Also, there were towels everywhere. The next room they gave us had cockroaches. My wife killed 2 on her nightstand table by her side of the bed. We were so exhausted since we had just taken a 9 hour trip and it was approaching midnight that we switched sides. Then when we woke this morning, I went to shower and there wasn’t any soap in the giant bottles that are attached to the wall of the bathtub. And there were holes in the wall that had been patched but still had spackling smeared over them, yet to be sanded. After that I went down to get breakfast and they had very little to eat and to top it off the cereal dispenser was stuck and I couldn’t get to 1 of the 4 options. Dried paint was all over the toilet from when they painted last. The downstairs bathroom had a nasty something(?) on the wall. The guy who was at the desk was either on his phone or his laptop every time I went to the car or ran to the store. We have stayed here numerous times because it’s close to our family. — However, this is our last.
